Louisiana Steam Equipment’s Applied Technology Center features operational characteristics and theory behind basic steam trapping practice; rotary pressure joint and syphon selection; heat transfer efficiencies of embossed panel coil; liquid transfer systems; controls and instrumentation loops; behavioral impact of steam, condensate, and non-condensable gases on piping systems components through the use of video programs and a fully functional glass piping system using live steam. Program orientation can be structured for engineering, maintenance, Research & Development, and new employees.
