Research & Development

Louisiana Steam Equipment Company continues to push the boundries of technology within the industries we serve.

LSE has joined forces with the U. S. Department of Energy to  co-fund advanced steam and electrical balance modeling through grants to Tulane University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In addition, LSE funded research in high velocity Newtonian fluid behavior at both Embry-Riddle and the University of New Orleans in an effort to study multi-stream turbine extraction impact upon combined heat and power “CHP” industrial applications.

Heading LSE’s R&D Department and Academic Interface Program is Dr. S. T. Hsieh.  Dr. Hseih served as the Department Chair of Electrical Engineering at Tulane University from 1986-1992, and since 1997 serves as the Director of the US/China Energy and Environmental Techonology Center funded by the U. S. Department of Energy.
